Melton Market Day Stalls - Royal Children's Hospital Fundraiser

Students raise $67,000 for sick kids

Students across our OneSchool Global (OSG) campuses in Victoria have gone above and beyond to raise more than $67,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation (RCHF), exceeding their target of $50,000.

From Millennium Markets to Rock Paper Scissors Tournaments, our students have harnessed creativity and teamwork to rally the support of our school communities, making a real difference for sick kids.

Our students leading the charge

Seven of our campuses – Bairnsdale, Bendigo, Berwick, Hamilton, Melton, Nathalia, and Swan Hill – joined forces for this initiative, proving that passion and determination can create meaningful impact.

“Every year our OSG students raise thousands of dollars for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, and it is so inspiring to see them using their own initiative to rally the support of the school community,” said OSG Regional Principal Simon Beaumont.

“This year, the OSG Victorian campuses have far exceeded their $50,000 target, raising an incredible $67,671 for sick kids,” he said.

“Through the OSG learning to learn framework, our students are supported to take control of their own learning – and we really see how empowered and driven they are when they take the lead on their charitable initiatives.”

Fun-filled fundraising highlights

Each campus found innovative ways to raise funds:

  • Swan Hill students took charge of a luxury car wash, ensuring every vehicle sparkled.
  • Hamilton kept the excitement going with Rock Paper Scissors tournaments, Donut Days, Ice Cream Races, Odd Hat Day, and even Anything but a Backpack Day! They also teamed up with our Bendigo campus for a talent quest.
  • Melton students took a trip through time with the Market of the Millennium, featuring stalls inspired by different historical eras.
  • Bairnsdale hosted an International Market, celebrating different cultures through food and crafts.
  • Nathalia & Berwick collaborated on a joint sports day, securing sponsorships from local businesses to boost fundraising efforts.
A legacy of giving

“OneSchool Global students have raised more than $200,000 for the RCHF in recent years,” said Georgia Gribble, Fundraising Coordinator for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

“These funds have gone towards the Hospital’s specialist care wards and Intensive Care Unit, and we are very thankful for the support of OSG students.”

A huge thank you to our students and supporters – you are truly making a difference!
