IXL: Personalised learning to support
MAP Growth results

OneSchool Global is pleased to announce the global launch of IXL, an advanced digital learning tool designed to empower students with personalised, targeted practice in key learning areas.

IXL is now being introduced across all regions following a successful trial in selected campuses. It will support ongoing student growth in Mathematics, Reading, and Language Usage, aligned to each student’s individual NWEA MAP Growth results.

A personalised pathway to student growth 

One of the best features of IXL is its anytime, anywhere access, allowing parents to stay engaged with their child’s progress. It is designed to support students in learning at their own pace, with guidance from teachers, fostering both confidence and mastery over time.

Teachers will incorporate IXL practice into Homeroom, Study time, and Learning to Learn practices, with flexibility for students to also practise at home. 

Introducing the NWEA MAP Skills Plan at OSG 

At OSG, our key focus will be the use of the IXL ‘MAP Skills Plan’, which aligns students’ scores from MAP Growth assessments to provide personalised skill recommendations.

What does this mean for OSG students and Educators?

• Students receive targeted practice in the exact areas they need to grow.  Their MAP RIT scores will transfer to IXL, creating personalised study plans (click here to read more)
• Homeroom/Primary Teachers can track and update student progress, enhancing MAP conversations and goal setting. They can adjust instruction using real-time analytics.
• Students are enabled to work in a self-directed way towards achieving their MAP growth goals, with support from their teachers.
  Campus Principals will have access to all student data.

When to expect the rollout

Rollout is currently scheduled to begin per region as early as August/September 2025. Please stay tuned for more information from your campus.

Action required

• Parents, please discuss the targets set by your child and their Homeroom/Primary Teacher, and support their use of the IXL MAP Skills Plan at school and also at home if desired
• Students, you will be given training by your Homeroom/Primary Teacher on how to access your IXL MAP Skills Plan. Use your plan to guide your practice through the skills that will help you reach and exceed your MAP growth goals.
